I had my hair trimmed and coloured ..felt so at ease as soon as I walked in..the staff couldn't do enough for me and my hair looked so much better ill definitely be back in the future.

I only started going to Urban Hair & Beauty in January of this year and have been back 3 or 4 times since!Paige, who does my hair is fantastic. Every time, she does exactly what I ask her to do and it?s always looks perfect!I recently got married and I felt so confident in her ability that I had my hair done 3 days before the wedding and it looked exactly as I had hoped.They are also really reasonably priced and the salon is comfortable and a nice environment to be in!Couldn?t recommend enough!!Service: Hair highlighting

I went in earlier today to get a hair cut and blow dry that I had booked a week before. I wanted it cut sooner but the lady said the hairdresser is away which is absolutely fine. I come in a week later and as soon as I walk in I immediately feel very unwelcome and the staff were confused by my booking as the hairdresser wasn?t supposed to work, however she was in the back. One lady told me to sit and wait whilst all the staff went into the back to talk, which I could hear everything and felt this wasn?t very professional. The lady I booked with shouted that I had booked it for tomorrow and that I was mistaken, which wasn?t the case. I felt that this was rude. Anyway, a lovely lady who usually cuts men?s hair offered to do it for me. As soon as she started on my hair all the other staff walked out of the salon and it felt a bit strange. The lady who cut my hair was so friendly and felt bad for my experience, which is why I?ve given it 2 stars not 1. However it was a dry cut that took 15 minutes max as I had arrived there at 12 and left just before quarter past. She did a good job but it felt very rushed. I?ve also never been to a salon where I haven?t had a hair wash, which I wasn?t happy about as I wanted the full salon experience. For the inconvenience I was only charged £20 which was half the amount but I left the salon not happy with the service. I usually don?t write reviews but this wasn?t a proper salon experience for me. I expected more and the situation wasn?t dealt with professionally. Unfortunately for these reason I won?t go back here.

Absolutely amazing full head of highlights. Paige is a colour expert and had a proper consultation before she started, so established exactly what I wanted in detail and advised how my hair would take to the colour etc. My natural colour was very dark and ends had old colour in, so hair was blocked in previous colour lines. She got rid of the previous lines and regrowth colour and got a seamless, natural and healthy colour, on hair that has gotten thinner and finer as it nears 50. Delighted with the outcome and can highly recommend this hairdressers and specifically Paige.
