One night stay at this Travelodge. Have to say the staff were really welcoming and helpful during our stay. The location for a next day drive to York was also perfect for the price. The only negative was the room. Although reasonably clean there were a couple of clothing labels on the floor from the previous occupant which says they didnt hoover properly. The bathroom was fine and clean. Also one plug socket and usb charging point wasnt working. Reportes this so will undoubtedly be repaired (the guy was straight on it). Overall for a one nighter would stay again.

Perfect for what we wanted. We were let down with doggy care so had a dog friendly room for the night. Clean bedding & bathroom -perfect for overnight.

Nice hotel, friendly staff. Good location just outside York city centre. Only slight gripe is lack of parking directly outside hotel and the fact the hotel is only accessible from one side of the carriageway.

There were a couple of issues with the room but the reception guy sorted it himself straight away. Good option for visiting York as easy to get to the Park and ride.

On arrival the staff member was excellent and accommodating and helped with a few issues we had, cant fault the service.
The low star is based off the room, faulty TV''s not the cleanest of rooms the shower wasn't great little pressure and couldn't adjust the temp seem excessively hot. Location wise lady for the park and ride but note it's on the bypass meaning you have to go up and back to get to the hotel. Same to get to the food service across the way.

As a contractor I go where the company sends me.
Nice clean rooms, comfortable beds (three visits over three weeks, a week at a time).
Friendly staff who couldn't do enough for you.
My only gripes are the floor boards upstairs creak a lot. (not good when you're on earlys and need the sleep) The bathrooms are looking tired and two of the ones I stayed in could do with a refresh.
Would I stay here again if sent, yes I would.

Stayed over for 2 nights while attending a wedding at The Oakwood in Ryther
Lovely welcome from reception staff, checked in and straight to our rooms, normal Travelodge standard, clean and the windows had been opened which we were grateful for
Tea/coffee in the room - great, just could always do with more milk
Bathroom was clean and had no issues here
All reception staff were great, welcoming and chatty which was nice
Went to Greggs for breakfast!

Rooms are very comfortable, welcoming and clean. Staff are lovely, Ashley on reception was amazing! So friendly, always smiling, so amazing with the little one. Absolutely fantastic! Very up to date on the decor and style. Spacious rooms, phone Charing sockets next to each side of the bed. Even ones with the usb c chargers. If not paying attention you could miss the turn. But also located next to Greggs. We stayed at the back so didn?t hear any traffic so not 100% sure on the noise.

We stayed here whilst we were in York for a day with our dog. Parking was fine as there were plenty of spaces. The rooms were newly refurbished but sadly there was a hear wave so the rooms were hot and fan didn't work properly. If your room faces the front you will hear a lot of noise from cars revving out of the car park and people coming and leaving from the hotel.

Great staff the lady on front desk on the morning and the gentleman next day were very pleasent and helpful kept us right .Rooms are clean and spacious even had a fan In room just in case it was hot .Great stay great location for nearby York
