Would stay again. A little walk into town, good location. Very clean and the breakfast was excellent.

Typical travelodge. We had a superior room which was good and clean but quite small and compact. 10 minute walk to central York. Adequate parking and has a Costa attached if you like their coffee. Didn?t try the restaurant for breakfast or dinner so can?t comment. Drinks at the bar are expensive.

One of the best Travelodge's we have been to. Great location just outside of York,10-15 min walk, clean rooms with air-conditioning, which was needed during our stay, comfy beds. Will be staying here again when we next plan a visit.

Excellent! Stay over breakfast in the morning. Was spot on plenty of parking. 2-minute walk from the centre of York. Prices were reasonable for weekend. Definitely stay here if you get the chance The staff was pleasant and the stay was memorable and I will be returning.

Good location but room is not cleaned properly. So many hair I found on the sheet, at least 5, water mark on the shelf, fingerprints on the shower head! The floor is clearly not hovered because I could see so many hairs that?s not mine.
I asked for a different room but the second room wasn?t cleaned properly either. Hope they improve the cleaning standards.

Had two days in York, the room was very good. Our room was on the 4th floor, it was very clean and very quiet. Travelodge is a 5/10 minute walk into city centre so an ideal location. There is ample parking and we were able to leave our car here until 5pm on day of departure. Overall a great experience and would definitely come again.

Great location 5 min walk from the city walls with free parking included with your stay.
The only reason I have given 3 stars is the AC wasn?t working in both of our rooms, and looking at the other reviews, it appears this has been known issue for several months but still hasn?t been fixed yet? we are staying in the peak of summer and it was warm all week so we had to sleep with the window open which meant it was a little noisy at night when trying to sleep and the replacement fan was just blowing warm air around ?

The hotel is fine if you don't mind hot, sticky rooms. I tried 3 rooms and all had faulty air-conditioning. The first the system was dead, the second sounded like a plane taking off and in the third it started fine but quickly stopped working displaying 3 different error messages. The rooms were hot and sticky so I didn't sleep well.
There's no customer service number and all the staff could offer a new room, but if 3 had problems, the 4th is likely to have issues too.
