It's above a wetherspoons and near a busy road through the city, so you get road and pub noise late into the night.

Room was furnished and decorated better than most of the other Travellodges that we have stayed in.
The bed was a little hard for our liking but I guess that?s personal preference.
The main issue was the noise coming from the outside seating area of Wetherspoons below. Even with the window closed you could hear people chatting. It went on until nearly 11:30pm on a Sunday evening.
The other thing to be aware of is the parking is located a fair walk away. But the 30% discount was welcomed.

Great place, great service, and better than expected

Fantastic location, good value for money. Comfortable rooms/ clean. Staff were friendly. Quick check in. Convenient that there's a pub right next door for cheaper meals/ drinks etc. Would 100% use again when we next visit York.

Average hotel , but clean and somewhere to sleep. Lovely service from Nikki on arrival at reception. She helped us check in early when we was unable to online. Would definitely recommend this especially if you have an event.

Rooms are clean but tired, not enough electrical sockets, especially on the bed wall.
Staff really friendly, and location is good, Wetherspoons next door to hotel.

Clean room, 5 min walk into centre of York. Q parking nearby with discount code. Our room was hot and noisy due to Weatherspoons next door but still good value

Very dear (134gbp) one night atuesday. Don't know if it coincided with graduation day at university of york.,but wouldn't be at all surprised. BTW breakfast not Included. Really!!!

Great little place, centrally located making walking around the city without the need for transport.
Added bonus the hotel was above a weatherspoons, handy for breakfast and a night cap.
