I hate to put places down but I also like to give an honest opinion.But this shop was full of cheap heartless trinkets and junk.... puts shame to the name, and the guy running the shop when I went was very disinterested and seemed bored and knew little about his stock.I expected so much more. Asgard was so much better even though it was closed. Sorry but that's my honest opinion. Must try harder, especially in such a prominent position.

We popped in on our visit to York. Lots of incredible items to purchase. Small shop so can only get a few things from here.

The shop is very pretty with lots of medieval and Viking tourist products. However, the seller did not seem welcoming or smiling.

The stars are for the shop which had some very nice stuff in, however when we first went into the shop we were in there for 5 minutes looking around and NO-ONE was serving or even in the shop, we walked around and came back 10 minutes later and STILL no-one was in the shop serving, i even had a customer ask me about something as they thought i worked there, young lad came into shop about 5 minutes later with no real apology and just laughed when i said we had been in before and no-one about, terrible customer service

Just bought this fantastic sword! A bit pricey, but it's a hefty chunk of metal. Some other really interesting items in the shop too, from drinking vessels to clothing to ornaments and jewellery. If the Norse aesthetic is your thing, well worth a visit.
