Amazing food, the best curry takeaway we have had and definitely the best in york. Highly recommend the chicken tikka pasanda and egg pilau rice. Really good portions (3 meals easily fed 5 of us, with leftovers) and so many flavours in the food! Definitely not your typical greasy takeaway food, it's delicious and always delivered hot.
Fast delivery friendly drivers/staff too.

Absolutely disgusting behaviour from both parties to a paying customer with no apology or refund.
This take away (Amani?s) advertised themselves on Just Eat for this location on Beckfield Lane and accepted my order for collection. I have used them a lot over the years. When I arrived to collect the place was CLOSED in complete darkness as you can see in my photos. No answer when I tried to call. 30minutes later I was called to be told they don?t operate from this location and now located on Lindsey Avenue and called ?Zeera Spice?. I had already made alternative plans for dinner due to being starving and driven to the other side of town. My order would be cold. I thought I had been scammed. They should not have accepted my order under fraudulent circumstances.
Absolutely shocking they can scam customers and not give a refund. They claimed it is ?just one of those things? but it is not, they can?t still operate on a business name and location that is not open! Shocking. They claimed I could get a refund from Just Eat. But Just Eat will not refund me because apparently there were other successful orders for the place which I?ve said will have been for delivery, or the take away actually letting them know in ADVANCE! I just want a refund for a service and food I was not provided. It is shocking!

Just ordered a chicken tikka masala with mushroom rice delivery it took just over 35 Minutes to Get delivered And it was so nice Very big portions, It was £12.60, including delivery Very impressed with the meal will be ordering again cannot fault it

best curry takeaway in york, probably one of the best curry takeaways i?ve ever had! chicken tikka masala was absolutely delicious - thick with big marinated pieces of chicken tikka and with tiny hints of citrus? just an amazing combination of flavours all around. the peshwari naan was also delicious with lots of coconut all throughout the naan, it was puffy and soft! i live a 20 minute drive away and despite this, the food was piping hot when delivered. reading past reviews it?s quite obviously under new management as everything was amazing.

Got a takeaway. Delivered quickly. But the most important thing is the FOOD! It was so delicious! We had the banquet for two and there was so much food and it was all perfect. Really good price for the amount of food. Will defo be ordering again.

Absolutely disgusting food?All the food was cold on delivery, the poppadoms were so soggy I could fold them in half without them snapping, the chip were like they had been boiled, I couldn?t chew the meat?.The worst Indian food I have EVER experienced?..I called them and as expected they weren?t interested?..AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS?..Ignore my review at your own peril!!!

Usually 5 stars ?? however I asked for chicken tikka in a dish and it wasn't. 2nd time its happened. Disappointed...I'm sure I will use Armanis again but not for a while..

How can you call a balti when clearly it's not,cooked in aluminium pan.no smokey flavor what so ever no char balti is a cast balti bowl hence the name I'm sick and tired of ordering faulse recipes .you should be ashamed.
