If you want extremely poor customer service then this is the place. Went in to buy a couple of pair of trainers to be treated with rude staff. The person that was ment to be in the shoe section was no where to be seen. When we saw a member of staff told us they couldn't help because it wasn't their 'zone'. I spoke to the so called assistant manager and her attitude was disgusting. I have worked in retail for many years and never had a worse experience. So much for helping customers. We walked out without a purchase and also a number of other people did too. Not sure how this shop is still open. Definitely won't be stepping back in this shop! One to avoid.

I visited the store today with my family, and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. A young staff member was assisting customers, and when I approached him for help with buying shoes for my children, he was not only unhelpful but also quite disrespectful. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and asked again, hoping for better service, but his attitude worsened. Shockingly, he even shouted at my young child when they simply wanted to try on a shoe.
I reported the incident to the manager, but when the staff member was called over, he denied everything without hesitation. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable, especially in a family-oriented environment.

I'm sorry for all of the team members who works on the shift with the guy in black curly hair. He is getting the same money like others who are so polite and work hard, when he tries to survive the shift and just hide behind shelves and when you ask for help he is total ignorant.

Don't go to this store, the staff are ignorant and rude. Their refund policy is appalling and the shop is a chaotic mess. Never ever again. First and last time. Shop elsewhere!!

Just had the most appalling customer service in my life and then ordered to leave the store!! However, now having read up a bit about the company and especially the owner and all the controversy surrounding their practices, I'm not surprised the staff are so arsey and very miserable. Who would ever work there, terrible place. I would definitely never go in there again!! Just an appalling experience ?

Sports neglect! (1 minute read)
Go elsewhere they don?t want to serve customers here. 2 staff in ladies section (upstairs, didn?t see a sign or an arrow to stairs). So they should look rushed off their feet, that at least would indicate their commitment to customer service.
Oh no, they just shuffle about trying to look busy. Getting paid for nothing while you wait and wait and wait. Then they walk right past you without a word like you sat there cos your feet hurt.
You have to grab a chance to buy something! Then they tell you to look online rather than actually checking stock (which was on the unreachable top shelf)!
So I voted with my feet and left. No wonder the place was mostly empty. Had more conversation with other shoppers about them than anything else. They also gave up. I won?t be returning. First visit and my last visit.

Rubbish staff. After finally tracking down a member of staff to help us get some trainers in my friend?s size, she returned from the stock room with a different pair of shoes, shoved them in my friends arms, mumbled something incoherent, and walked off. We thought she was going back to get some other trainers, but after waiting 15 minutes we found her doing something else. We left without buying anything.

Decent prices, but older/basic styles and the store is cluttered. Staff are generally disinterested and can be difficult to find when you need something.

Tried to return a bike online, the tracking number has been re-used twice now with different companies and there is no way to speak to anyone from the delivery company, Sports Direct happy to fob you off and tell you it?s not their problem, shambolic companies both Sport Direct and Evri, I will inform everyone I come in contact with never to purchase anything from Sports Direct as their customer service is rude, arrogant and quite frankly pathetic.

Sports direct gets a bad press. But today I felt compelled to write a review on the excellent service I received from manager (or maybe assistant manager?) Sophie. Needed to exchange faulty football boots that were 7 months old and I had no receipt only a bank statement. Sophie was so helpful, managed to produce a duplicate receipt from the till after searching for a good while, was offered a full exchange, no quibbles. My son got his new football boots and I didn?t have to pay twice! . One happy customer!
