Rubbish staff. After finally tracking down a member of staff to help us get some trainers in my friend?s size, she returned from the stock room with a different pair of shoes, shoved them in my friends arms, mumbled something incoherent, and walked off. We thought she was going back to get some other trainers, but after waiting 15 minutes we found her doing something else. We left without buying anything.

Decent prices, but older/basic styles and the store is cluttered. Staff are generally disinterested and can be difficult to find when you need something.

Tried to return a bike online, the tracking number has been re-used twice now with different companies and there is no way to speak to anyone from the delivery company, Sports Direct happy to fob you off and tell you it?s not their problem, shambolic companies both Sport Direct and Evri, I will inform everyone I come in contact with never to purchase anything from Sports Direct as their customer service is rude, arrogant and quite frankly pathetic.

Sports direct gets a bad press. But today I felt compelled to write a review on the excellent service I received from manager (or maybe assistant manager?) Sophie. Needed to exchange faulty football boots that were 7 months old and I had no receipt only a bank statement. Sophie was so helpful, managed to produce a duplicate receipt from the till after searching for a good while, was offered a full exchange, no quibbles. My son got his new football boots and I didn?t have to pay twice! . One happy customer!

Today my granddaughter and I went to your store at Monks Cross York My granddaughter wished to exchange her newly bought trainers as they did not fit her Chloe at the till was very pleasant and helpful as was Ethan who kept bringing her different trainers to try on Nothing was too much trouble for him even though he had other customers that needed his help So I would like to say another thank you to both Chloe and Ethan for their exceptional customer service

Called in to browse their hiking backpacks with a view for buying one as a present, their ENTIRE selection was completely out of reach of anything but a staff member with a steep ladder at the top of their display. You can't buy without inspecting with a product like that. Dozey store planning and product placement. Went elsewhere.

Absolutely disgusted with the male staff who worked yesterday,a young lady on the till alone,huge queue of customers,she rang for assistance & the 3 males stood having a cuppa & chat totally ignored her,a lady from upstairs ran down to assist her & as I left the store confronted the 3 male staff & all they did was laugh.Well done to the 2 ladies for your hard work,as for the 3 males I've reported you,your an absolute disgrace!!

Brilliant, was in such a rush, but all staff fantastic and helpful. Saved the day, needed a pair of swimming trunks. Brilliant got them in sports direct thank you, you all saved my holiday.

Staff were medioka asked for a size and they brought it but promptly disappeared so had to keep finding them for shoes even though they weren't very busy (stood round talking to themselves).Boxes all over
