Avoid. This bank is worse than the Bank of England vaults.
I try to withdraw my monies, I am asked what I need cash for and trying to transfer monies into another account with another bank is terrible.
They interrogate me like I'm a bank robber.
I should not have to be put under this kind of pressure when trying to withdraw my money.
I understand they need to ask questions for our own safety but they repeat and repeat the questions.
I travel to another town now, I cant cope with the gestapo cashiers in the York branch.
I am seriously thinking of moving to another bank and ditching this bank.

Opening hours are short. Open for longer on less days rather than this.

I phoned Santander to cancel my appointment today, the woman mumbled something then cut me off. The man in York branch would not help me, so i tried to cancel.

Just called Santander to talk about my card had a long wait but I understand it can be busy sometimes, then spoke to Chris I believe was from Dublin honestly the best customer service I?ve ever had! Very polite, helpful and lovely.. Thankyou!!
