Me and my husband visit York every year as we love the city so much and stay in the same place which is close to Sainsbury?s Bootham. We come to this store all the time to pick up any items we need and we love the atmosphere, the staff, especially the youngsters, are super friendly and always make us feel very welcome! ??

Weshalb bewerte ich einen Supermarkt? Einfach weil mir die Verkaufskultur gefällt. Anders wie in Deutschland kann man hier täglich einkaufen und das Personal ist auch an einem Sonntag Abend freundlich. Hat man eine Frage als Tourist, wird einen auch geholfen. Selbs wenn man dringend mal ein Schmerzmittel bräuchte kann man dieses hier kaufen. Ich kaufe gern hier ein. Vielen Dank

Gone very woke, staff clearly trans and non binary , which is fine if that's what they want.But too posh to pack, even if you go to the service till rather than self service, most of the under 25's refuse to pack for you. So I take my time?.What's the point other than when you want tobacco or alcohol which the auto scan units can't authorise..... yet!

No drunkards outside or tomfoolery within the premise from any bagabons. The selection of breads was less than satisfactory, but what can I expect at 11:30pm. My faith in Sainsburys was restored when the lady at the till swiftly located my preferred rum and checked us out within a minute. Would recommend, take the other reviews with a pinch of salt.
