Do I have to write a review before someone comes to the checkout? Yes! Yes I do. If you?re not going to have someone on the checkout at all times, you should at the very least have someone who can see them.

Met only 1 nice staff member here over all the times I have been in. The last experience was me witnessing a child steal and instantly tried to report it to a staff member who quote said 'so' and shrugged his shoulders, then said 'what do you want me to do about it'. Shocked I walked off. At the end of the day if sales drop then you loose a job. In your work agreement it will have a basic level for this and to act not just let people walk out with stolen goods and I for one am sick of paying for hiked ptices because workers cannot create a basic decency in the work place.

My meal deal did not come through today & I was in a great rush. One confusion leads to another and I am stressed. The Duty Manager came quickly and sorted all. He refunded me and showed amazing customer service. Thanks a lot for having such people in your stores, Sainsbury. I hope he is being appreciated fairly.

This larger local store has lots of room to browse around and is well-stocked. Kind and helpful staff. Convenient hours. A pleasurable shopping experience.

I rather like this bigger local store plenty of room to browse round nicely stocked and has things other local sainsbury don't have. The hot lunchtime cabinet is ideal for hot snacks and portions of potato wedges. A added bonus. Friendly and helpful staff I've found there and great opening hours too. A happy shopping experience..

Nice little grocery store with a decent selection of produce and other grocery basics. Good selection of wines, beers, and spirits. Very friendly staff.

Spent 5 days on vacation in York and stayed around the block. This was our go to store for food and toiletries. Great selection of gluten free foods. Open long hours, rapid checkout, helpful staff. We checked other stores, but none had the selection of this one in the area. Small compared to a USA supermarket, but much larger than the other small shops around every corner.
