Visited this store Saturday 2nd march, two members of staff apparent, one on phone other with customer, we looked at a few TV's waiting for staff to become available, when customer left store staff member walked away, we called him back and asked a few questions he gave short answers and then walked away at this point we left the store!

Called into the York branch a few days ago regarding some speakers I've been looking at and the chap who dealt with me didn't really engage with to be honest and just looked on his laptop at prices and said there's some upstairs and when I came back downstairs he was just around the corner on his phone..There was no suggestion of a demo or anything so subsequently i've looked on eBay and bought some off there..Sorry Julian Richer you missed a sale there.. Disappointed..?

Hadn't used Richer Sounds for years, but was visiting York for a day out and decided to pop in as I knew they had an opened box Sonos Arc for sale on clearance. After a good Chat with Gavin the store manager, and him answering many of my daft questions?, I decided to buy it. Was thinking of the Sonos beam Gen 2, but thought i'd regret it. Honestly great customer service, an amazing price via clearance, and as a VIP member I got an additional 10% off, which is free to become a VIP member. Don't even think this had been used, I was told the customer bought it and was too big, which at 114cm wide it is long. Love it, thank you for your help. No high pressure selling like Currys which was really refreshing.

One of the few shops in the city centre that I rate highly due to decent prices warranty and helpful sales staff, first port of call for a new TV, access to load up restricted due to cente location and is limited by size for display of goods

Mis-sold an overpriced TV to my elderly parents. Were told that LG no longer made mid range TVs (a lie) and pushed to a Samsung which has never worked properly. This was once a great store, no longer.

I went into Richer Sounds York looking for a new vinyl player. The staff were great and really helped me with recommendations and catering to exactly what I wanted. Couldn?t recommend them highly enough!!!
