Staff were very welcoming, our room clean and very comfortable. Location was about 3 miles from York centre and park and ride was only 5mins from Premier Inn. Ideal to leave car and have a pleasant ride through York. Will be revisiting York and will stay at the Premier Inn again.

Check in staff were exceptionally friendly. Check in was quick and easy. The guy was very friendly and super helpful. The room was as expected for a family. The room however had an unpleasant smell and was so hot. 27/27.5 degrees and it?s not really been that warm recently. The fan provided was very loud. The room overlooked the bins, so maybe that?s what caused the smell. We all slept really badly. We decided not to eat at Beefeater for dinner as suggested by numerous people saying the food was bad. Perhaps because it was really busy. Breakfast was ok. Buffet style. Preferred the Travelodge to be honest.

Lovely staff on reception room was fine apart from no air con with temperatures reaching 30 degrees given a fan but didn?t do much also we were on ground floor and car park directly outside room no nets up so had to stay in complete darkness throughput our stay I mentioned this to reception and he said he had put nets up in our room Really well you must have a net nicker then please think of your customers

Really friendly and helpful staff, room has defects but slept okay apart from 6am onwards due to nearby main road noise. Got free brekky. Facilities good.

Stayed over the weekend when it was 28-30c outside, and the room was boiling and it barely cooled down at night. Thermostat in the room said 27c at 7am when we got up, it was cooler outside. They provided one fan which was rubbish, and we needed 2 as we had a twin room. Luckily we brought our own.
2 nights was 240 quid over a weekend, no breakfast, I would say it's not worth the money as the rooms were a bit rundown, the lino in the bathroom looked about 20 years old. There was a big brown stain on the duvet (that I wanted to use as a pillow to sit up on the bed NOT as a cover lol) so I didn't bother using it.
I didn't try brekkie or main meals there, instead behind it there is a fantastic Chinese restaurant called maxis that I highly recommend. We drove the 10 mins to maccies in the morning to get brekkie for half the price.
Overall not worth the money you pay for a basic, boiling room with no air con that hasn't been recently renovated at all.

Great location just outside the city £10.00 in a cab back to the train station. Beefeater next
door / attached.
Staff here are super friendly, polite and professional. Same with the Beefeater.
Highly recommended.

A fantastic Premier Inn Hotel ideally situated 10 minutes from York City centre and 10 minutes from the racecourse, Hotel was very clean and tidy, reception staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough to help with anything, bar staff were also very friendly and helpful, drink and food were all reasonably priced and very enjoyable, will always be back there whenever in York .

Have stayed at this Hotel before, rooms are nice, beds comfy.
The food is great, we had breakfast, there was a large choice, fruit, yoghurt, cereal, cooked breakfast, all fresh.
Our room was quiet, which is always a bonus.
Ate in the restaurant both night, lovely meal both times. Food was well cooked a very tasty.
Will stay again when we visit York next time.

Had a lovely stay. Rooms comfortable staff friendly and helpful. Stayed here a few times and always had good experiences.
The lady with amazing hair with stars has always been great each time we've visited.
Only downside is we had to have 2 rooms as 2 adults and 3 children.

Wifi is terrible. There is no mobile phone signal either. Other than that it's fine, like every other premier inn.

The hotel is really clean and the staff are nice and helpfull, as we asked to be put closer to the lift and they did, would stay here again when I'm in York next time
