We had a large group stay for my sister's hen and am blown away by how amazing all the staff were. Valentina who coordinated our rooms and requirements for the hen was an absolute legend. Thank you!! We had the best time, the rooms were lovely and the beds were very comfy. There was a big selection for breakfast and was yummy. We will definitely be back!

Can get noisy if your room looks out across the river - lots of busy bars there. But cleanliness is good. Food and beer wasn't good for the price but there's York on your doorstep, plenty of choice there.Walkability: Just across the river and there's all the pubs and resturants and clubs. All within a short walk. Couple of good places just around the corner from this hotel

The staff at the York Raddison are friendly and so very helpful - thank you. I only had to ask for assistance once and it was done - I asked to move room due to noise and it was done without any fuss. Also the hotel is immaculate and very well appointed. My recent stay was very comfortable.Rooms: Very clean and well appointed.

DISCRIMINATION IF PAYING CASH(can not see on websites that it mentions cashless or it is difficult to find)Looks like half hearted refurbishment has recently been carried out !Do or do not !,But not half !They try mix Corporate and holiday guests! In my opinion it does not work !They discriminate against people who pay in cash.Check in was easy and pleasant & no dogs was a plus .Location was good but would not stay againAlso lied on reply!Thank you for your Reply Ms Lewis

Sitted right in the centre of York, right along the river, it is definitely a favourite in my history of hotels. The food is lovely with a buffet style, allowing you to be filled with good grub. The staff were absolutely outstanding, couldn't wish for a more freindly atmosphere. It has this fancy but chill aesthetic with a cosy feeling.

The hotel was ok but did not feel very welcoming, it also felt and looked like a lower grade hotel. The weather was cold, but ever day the aircon system reset and heating in room went off. This could only be reset at reception so we could get some heat in our room. Very frustating!Rooms: Not very nice, decor very low quality. Aircon switched off every day and had to be reset and turned only at receptionWalkability: Easy walk to City

One thing I could say was the hospitality from the restaurant guys, and it was amazing. I don?t know their names, but an Indian guy and one other Asian girl were top-notch. They check in with me every time about how things are going. As well as others, great guys. 5 nights, and it was worth it.Note: The room could be better because I found it smelly sometimes and had more dust on the blankets.27/02/24 to 01/03/2024.

Had a 2 night stay at this Hotel a few days ago and would thoroughly recommend it. Very convenient location under 10 minutes walk from the train station and a similar time to the main attractions in the city. Very comfortable room on the 7th floor with views of the Minster and the River Ouse below. Excellent breakfast. Wonderful service from all the staff with a special mention for Natasha on the front office and Saurab in the restaurant, both Excellent.Nearby activities: Lots to do and see in York. Castle Mueum and Jorvik experience both must sees. Both less than 10from the hotel minutes walkFood & drinks: Tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms. Excellent breakfast with hot and cold options

Rooms: Twin room had everything we needed.Nearby activities: Well placed for City centre, minster, shambles, Castle museum, Clifford's Tower to name but a fewWalkability: Very close to the centre and well positioned for night life including the theatre. About a five minute walk from the train station.

Stayed on a Friday for our anniversary, Room 513, an executive double. Honestly ..... tatty.Pros :Bar and restaurant staff were excellent, friendly, and helpful, especially Cesar.Common areas were beautiful and clean, including the toilets.View was true to the description with nice large windows.Bed was comfy, pillows were usual soft, ok but not great type.Location was great, close to everything. No taxi required for most things and deliveroo found it. Although be prepared for a lengthy wait if it is a weekend because of traffic.Cons :Check-in staff were rude, surly and clearly wanted to be anywhere else than at the desk.Room was shabby at best. Definitely not worth £170. Downright unclean in places.Tv had only a few channels 1,2 itv, 4 and 5 the rest did not work.Summary: If I had the choice, i would not stay again. Too many negatives at this price point, tarnished the experience somewhat.

Clean hotel, friendly staff and good location. I have a disabled family member with me and was able to park right outside which was very convenient! The only thing I would say is that the breakfast was nothing special and if I was to stay here again I would likely opt out of having it and go into York to have food instead. However the hotel itself is lovely ??

Not even checked in and the review is a solid 1 star. Self serve terminals that are utterly useless are not what I need after a long trip. A human and a smile please. When paying a premium I expect service, not a bloody robot that doesn?t work.
