I went for an assessment for laser or surgical sight correction. What really impressed me is that I was advised these treatments weren?t suitable due to the potential of a flare up of a previous eye condition, with surgery only to be carried when essential.
Thank you for this thorough assessment.
I hope this reassures anyone who may have doubts that these assessments might not be fully objective, that they are.

I had laser eye surgery back in July 2022 and cannot recommend them enough to others. From initial consultation to being discharged the staff at the york branch and operating staff in leeds were excellent. I had quite bad redness and irritation after surgery but the ophthalmologist and post surgery staff were reassuring and gave great care. Thank you for the 20/20 ??

I would like to thank Carol at the York branch for not once, but twice mending my glasses for free after I managed to throw them accidentally on the floor and the lens falling out -great service

I?m on holiday and had a problem with my daughters glasses. Carol and Addy worked so hard to fix the problem. I wish all customer service was as good as this. I can?t recommend this store highly enough. Thanks very much guys.

Went into Optical Express whilst visiting York as I broke a nose pad on my sunglasses. Carol allowed us in even though the shop was closing. She was really polite and friendly and replaced both nose pads with softer ones. Also, advised us of places of interest we could visit during our stay in York.
