Very nice pub and very busy. It is a little off the beaten track but worth the visit.
We had a Sunday roast dinner, which was nice, but as we caught it as it was coming to a close, the food was probably not at it's best. This would certainly not stop me returning, as I am sure it has a lot more in the way of food to offer.
Summer's must be a delight here as the beer garden looks lovely.
Parking is a bit of a problem, as it has limited spaces.

Had a fantastic 2 night stay on the caravan site. The pitches were perfect, with everything needed.
Dustbin,waste water,chemical toilet waste, hook up, aerial for tv, good w
ifi reception, fresh water all on the personal pitch. Toilet and shower block well maintained. The pub itself also excellent. Beautiful meals and good choice of beers. 5 min walk to supermarkets, 10 min walk to a beautiful lake. Our dog loved it. The whole experience was super. Thankyou to all the staff and well done.

Always fantasic food, steak night deal on a Wednesday, and the Sunday lunch is very popular.

A pleasant restaurant with good food. Not a huge menu which works well. The bar is nice and friendly with plenty of room. Staff were very polite .

We called in for lunch after visiting gear4 music. There was an excellent choice of beers lager and cider including hand pulled cask conditioned real ales which were excellent when we visited. The food was top-notch and very filling. There's a nice outside seating area in the pub garden and plenty of parking we will definitely be returning.
Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options on the menu
Dietary restrictions: There are vegan options on the menu for anyone wishing to avoid dairy products
Parking: There is a good-sized free customer car park.
Kid-friendliness: The pub is child friendly
Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance is flat easy access for wheelchair users
