I wouldn't recommend using any form of Click and Collect here though. Completely avoid.
Had at least 3 packages delivered there over a 5 year period and each time they say they don't have it.

It's a handy well stocked shop. I'm in a local Airbnb and wish I had something as convenient at home. Prices seem reasonable and staff helpful.

As others have said in their reviews of Londis - APPALLING. Mr Rabbani - older man says rudely parcel not there when it is. Tries to fob you off and make you leave without the parcel. The shop should not be in a position to collect parcels.

Rip-off prices. Saw a drug deal happening in plain sight once, the owner was looking dead on at the bag of weed and did nothing. At least try to pretend you aren't seeing it.

The staff essentially held my parcel hostage, because they hadn't done what was required on their end to send me a collection code for my parcel. I was very kind and considerate at first with them, even calling eBay's customer service to give them the benefit of the doubt, but they tried to make it seem like it was my fault and even threatened to send it back despite it being their fault I wasn't able to collect it initially.
When I told them they needed to contact eBay themselves as the advisor on the phone told me I couldn't pass the phone to them, they told me they don't do that and it's my problem, not theirs.
The older man especially is very rude, nasty and has a very bullish approach to customer service. This is not the first negative interaction I've had with this man, he's always been rather unkind and I don't understand what his problem is.
The younger woman was however very kind and understanding, although perhaps a bit misguided and accusatory too. I did manage to collect my parcel, which is great, but that was only after the older man had left the shop and wasn't interrupting the service with unhelpful and rather mean jibes.
Overall, it was an incredibly negative experience but I do want to end this with positivity so if you ever want to get a parcel delivered, go to Today's Express across the road. The staff there are always incredibly lovely, I've never had an issue with them and I will absolutely be going there only for anything in the future.
I hope if the staff at Londis see this, especially the man, that they take this as a learning experience and grow from it, because it was flat out unacceptable what happened today.

Been putting up with the awful customer service seen as it?s my local and there have been a few times where I?ve only needed one thing but if you can avoid this shop DO! They sell out of date food - literally months out of date some of them. If you?re not looking hard enough you can easily mistake it as in date as they don?t specify beyond the small date label itself that it?s out of date. I?ve bought milk from there that?s gone off the day after so no idea how they?re storing it before they put it in the fridges. One guy on the till had to stop me from buying a pack of bananas cause he noticed the hundred of fruit flies on them before I did! The prices are ridiculous as is but just to top it off they?ll probably scan your food twice just to charge you more too! So frustrating that the post office can?t be in a different store entirely.

Couldn't even send my parcel back from there even though they do take Yodel parcels. To be honest there is a massive language barrier as it's very obvious English is not their 1st language. I ended up going else where & don't think I'll go there again

Same as other reviewers, really poor customer manner by the older man. His young colleague scanned my yodel drop off. The older man then very abruptly refused to take it. My concern was that it had been scanned and then refused. But my complaint concerns the older man's manner. Completely unnecessary

Absolutely robbed me, I bought 3 pot noodles ,3 caprisuns and a pag of crisps charged me £21 wasn't in the right frame of mind at the time and only realised after I got half way down street, give him £25 and gave me £3.90 change so robbed me and short changed me, karma will come you way ripping people off!!!!! Avoid this place like the plague.

Wow I?m not sure I?ve met people as rude as this before supposedly providing services . If you want staff to talk down to you and be incredibly rude - and a few out of date foods on the shelves as an added bonus - knock yourself out .
