The staff named "Rana" was very helpful as I prefer vegetarian, and mistakenly ordered non-veg Items, he has taken responsibility and served me with an alternative! Will recommend this restaurant!

The food is superb. We had Lamb m Madras with garlic naan and Chicken Passanda with Basmati rice. The staff are professional, friendly and extremely helpful. Highly recommend!

Great little Indian restaurant. We didn't reserve a table. we just walked in, and they seated us no problem. The food was amazing. our son gave the chef 5*. The atmosphere was nice and relaxed with beautiful Indian music playing. Would 100% recommend and will go back again.
Kid-friendliness: Kids are very welcome.

Jorvik spice have been before when we were last in York had a meal last night Rana and his staff were polite professional when I first walked in I thought there had been a change it was great place to eat before it's a fantastic place to eat now food was superb well done Rana 10/10

Quite simply the tastiest Indian/Asian Meal I've ever had, and that includes Spice Symphony New York that was Top 10 TripAdvisor at the time of visiting. Beautiful food. The kids loved it too. Will certainly visit again when we return to York.

Portions are relatively small compared to most Indians but the taste is absolutely fantastic. We were a group and every single one of us loved their dishes. Definitely my new favourite Indian restaurant in town! ?and I?ve tried them all for many years

Great little restaurant near York centre, food was amazing, very reasonable. Staff were very attentive especially rana. Not a lot of atmosphere but everything eles was spot on.

First time visiting and wasnt disappointed.Jalfrezi was absolutely spot on. Tasty starters and attentive service.Everyone in our group really liked it.They do deliveries as well.11/10
