My partner went to Johnsons to get his new suit dry cleaned for work, a £300 suit. He only bought this suit a month ago when he started this job, now it barely fits him because johnsons has shrunk the suit! £300 down the drain thanks to johnsons!

Have just received back pair of trousers sent for cleaning through waitrose. Shocking is all I can say. Beautiful trousers treated like rags. Even still had the seating creases from when I wore them last! Not even pressed properly. Will not be using johnsons again. Really upsetting and a waste of money.

My partner and I have been searching for a good ironing company for a couple of months and decided to try the Johnson?s at Bishopsthorpe road, LRO434, York.We dropped 20 pieces to iron, including 7 shirts, on Tuesday 3rd May. On the spot we were quoted £64 for the job and were informed the clothes would be ready by Thursday. We thought that price was high, but when on the following day I received a ready for collection text notification, I thought at least we were going to get a swift and efficient service. My partner collected the items and when we got them out of the bags, we were shocked at the state of them with the clothing being so badly creased it barely looked ironed at all.We are extremely unhappy with this service and would strongly recommend that people do not take their clothing here.

Fantastic service when dropping off my daughters school blazer and cheap price to be dry cleaned for Monday teatime. Will definitely be going every 6 weeks for the same service. The staff are lovely too.

Dropped one bag of dirty clothes at 9am. 5pm still wet. Been told their tumble dryer is horrible. Try to find different place if you need your washing on a same day in less then 8hrs. Lovely staff tho

Extortionately expensive! £76 for the washing of 2 large bags of clothes and the ironing of 3 shirts and 1 pair of trousers. Avoid.

For all your dry cleaning requirements Johnson's is High Street name recognised throughout England. Offering a ,"special service" to customers who subscribe to the loyalty scheme, which offers a clothes cover and membership card. With this service one can queue jump, simply leaving the cover upon the counter without explanation and collecting within 2-3 days thereafter. Mending, alterations and special finishes are also available.
