“We arrived earlier than our scheduled appointment and were still warmly welcomed and invited to browse at our leisure…we were going to come back for our appointment but found the dress there and then! After trying on a few options, we found the perfect dress and hat for the Mother of the Bride. The assistants were incredibly kind, accommodating, and patient throughout, nothing was too much trouble. They were more than happy to bring out different dresses and hats, offering helpful suggestions along the way. Even after we’d chosen the outfit, they thoughtfully recommended ways to incorporate another colour and provided beautiful embellishments to complete the look. A wonderful experience with truly lovely staff—highly recommended!”

“My partner and I cannot thank Frank and his partner enough. We got engaged last night however the ring was too small and wouldn’t come off. I called Frank in a panic and he came and met us to remove the ring, he and his wife were so nice to us during it and really made my partner feel at ease. “I was looking for a delicate bracelet to compliment my dress for my sons wedding. Rowan, who served me, was so helpful. She asked whether I had a photo of my outfit and what I had in mind. I was looking for inspiration and she delivered! Choosing four bracelets that were absolutely stunning and within budget I really struggled to choose just one! Therefore, I bought three, two for me and one as a gift for my future daughter-in-law (see photo). She modelled the bracelets for me and patiently looked at which two bracelets commented each other. She was so helpful and I found the whole experience really enjoyable. Also bought some diamond stud earings. A free tote bag finished my purchases. Well done to this store. They know what customer service looks like”

“Definitely a belated review but still needs writing all the same! We popped in May 2023! Needed an engagement ring. I had zero clue what I wanted, didn’t know my ring size, or even what colour gold I wanted! The lady who dealt with us was amazing! Really took her time and we didn’t feel rushed at all! She took the time to talk about different styles and show examples of them and let me try on so many different rings! We left with a beautiful engagement ring, cleaning cloth and the feeling that we had been given brilliant service and not been ripped off (which is how some people feel about some jewellers when I have read reviews!) He proposed later the same day and we are actually getting married in York next month! Five ⭐️ service and would totally use them again!”
