Famed for its unbelievably small kitchen, impressively huge collection of beers, & its rich and varied history, our medieval ale house will always be associated with its quirky taxidermy animal collection, and the staff who truly embody the spirit of "Madness"!
Our food is all sourced from the best that Yorkshire has to offer, and intended for sharing. We believe in good quality grub, with Yorkshire spirit (that means large portions!)
Food is served all day long, as we believe that good beer should always be paired with good food.
For craft beer in the pub we have 8 kegs, 3 casks and 1 cider, plus a carefully curated, yet extensive collection of beers available from the shop.
