Went in to let my Granddaughter choose some sweets and the lady on the shop floor was lovely. Unfortunately I didn't get her name but she spoke to my daughter about her beetlejuice coat and was so lovely to my Granddaughter, she was a lovely lady and I hope she sees this and knows little things like that are very much appreciated. I think it goes without saying that the merchandise is divine

We had a fantastic Chocolate tasting evening on Thursday. The shop was closed to the public which meant ticket holders had an opportunity to try lots of chocolates, ice cream, hot chocolate, and alcohol drinks. We were served a glass of Prosecco upon arrival. The staff were friendly and informative and nothing was too much bother! Highly recommend this event!!

We bought dark chocolate covered almonds and chocolate covered cherries. The shop is super cool and set up like a cosmetic store. So many options. The only reason I?m not giving it a 5 is because the staff followed me around as if I was stealing something and it made me uncomfortable.

Yorks our favourite place to visit and this shop to purchase the Serious Dark Fix Sleekster, another favourite of ours. The staff are always friendly and helpful.The outlet shop is also on our list if we visit the Designer outlet whilst in York. Visiting Harrogate soon and going to try the hotel chocolat cafe for the first time,can't wait ?

Brilliant service from Vicky - thank you! Having broke my toe I was unable to pick up a gift in person. I telephoned the York store and spoke to Vicky, she was very helpful, took and prepared my order which my other half collected within a couple of hours. Fuss free, friendly service, look forward to visiting soon when I am back on my feet!

Fantastic ice cream priced even cheaper than other local shops with the free VIP card. Chocolate is also top notch and the service is fantastic! Our weekly go-to shop after school.

A truly decadent treat. Absolutely redefines your notions of what smooth should mean in relation to chocolate. The simplest of their selection is the best. Staff is incredibly accommodating when it comes to unique arrangements.

I regularly visit this shop, always very clean and well maintained,it has a small corner to sit and have coffee and cake etc.. great coffee and the best Ice cream I have ever tasted... really lovely staff, always friendly and helpful...and of course a great selection of Hotel Chocolat goodies... would highly recommend
