A lovely little veggie cafe!
It took us a while to decide our food choices because everything sounded amazing! In the end I opted for the Vietnamese banh-mi which was full of fresh flavours and the perfect portion size. My partner chose the special of the day which was a gorgeous sweet potato stew. If you're looking for wholesome hearty ingredients, this is your place.
The staff were very attentive and helpful too! Highly recommend!

Really happy as a vegan to see such a great option in York. Honestly so good.
Had the cashew cream quiche (comes with with two salads) and a side of sweet potato wedges which in honesty was probably unnecessary because it was only a lunch. The quiche and salad were both filling and unspeakably delicious. The pastry was great but the quiche filling itself was like... melt in the mouth but so well flavoured and hearty. I would have ordered and eaten it again immediately.
The salad is also really well flavoured, seems like basically any vegetable they touch turns to gold. Good sharp fresh flavours.
Honestly I could not recommend this more highly, will definitely be coming back.
Didn't take photos because I wolfed it, unfortunately. But it was also nicely presented.
They also gave a lot of dessert options but I only came for lunch. Will report back...

Great food with many vegan options and excellent service. Staff went above and beyond holding a cake order for us after hours to collect so that we could bring to friends we were visiting. Much appreciated!

Go here all the time. I don?t often like eating out as I never feel I get my moneys worth but here I always have. The flavour and freshness of everything here is amazing. Takeout menu and picnic boxes are great in summer and close to quiet ?rear? minster gardens. Never thought to review this place as I?ve been going for years but needed to as it wasn?t five starts and it really should be!!!

Amazing service by all staff members, they are all very attentive. Lovely meal and I overheard a group of customers say one member of their party was celiac and the staff member was very knowledgeable on allergens and what was suitable on the menu.

Visited for the first time yesterday, very impressed by the vegan / vegetarian menu! Really enjoyed the salad platter and the delicious cake ...it was really hard to choose, everything looked really fresh in the chiller, and very tempting! Staff very friendly.
Vegetarian options: Most options are vegan with some vegetarian options. Gluten free and contains nuts also labelled
Dietary restrictions: We were asked if we had any allergies.

Staff are always so friendly and nice. Went here yesterday with a friend who is not vegan or vegetarian and she enjoyed it just as much as me. The food is delicious! Highly recommend the vegan brunch and the middle eastern platter. The cakes are lovely too.

We ate two plant based glutenfree plate and a vegan glutenfree baked cheesecake. Amazing salads and cakes, nice coffee. Highly recommended for vegans with gluten intolerance.

We visited today (20.08.24). Just wonderful from the minute we stepped through the door to leaving. We were greeted like old friends and served beautifully by friendly staff who are happy to help. Food was delicious - really, really delicious. On another level delicious! Salads that are out of this world! Wholesome, unique and wonderfully presented. If you?re veggie/vegan (or have stupid allergies and specific dietary restrictions like me), you won?t be disappointed - I felt confident about being in safe hands. Even ordering sides to come as a main for my 12 year old didn?t phase and was accommodated with ease.
Do visit if you can - it?s simply one of the best places I?ve eaten (and I have the fortune of eating in some very special places!).

Lovely small cafe found by my friends daughter during our trip to York. Very tasty homemade soup .Friendly staff .Took away a piece of cake which was excellent. Do go and visit .
