Would have just been a forgettable stop if not for him . Will call again any time I'm passing and need fuel ⛽️”

“Reconstructed and organised to deal with Covid. The whole petrol station has more space between pumps, the shop has a greater range of products. Signage directs route in and out. Coffee machines are right near to the door. A safe and enjoyable experience.”

“OUTSTANDING !! friendly and totally obliging, having pulled up with a flat as a f$%t tyre unable to drive at all, I was able to leave the car and collect it next day brand new tyre and MOTC done! Will not use anyone else EVER .. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !”

I went to post an item and fill up with fuel, realising I’d forgetting sellotape to stick address label on the item, staff went out of their way to find me some sellotape and scissors which meant I didn’t need to travel 3 miles home to get them.”

“I love Applegreen because from what I've researched they're an Irish company & have food quality fuel & don't take out the good stuff out of the fuel like supermarket petrol stations do, which brings their prices down & isn't so good for the engines of our cars & Applegreen prices are competitive considering this, not usually as expensive as Shell or the other big chains”
“I needed propane; they had some; I bought it. Did not visit main store. Arrived from North. Google sent me though the middle of York City. Easier to circumnavigate their ring road and come in from the east, which was the way I left (towards Hull).”

“Brilliant service! We ran out of fuel at a busy set of lights by the petrol station. I hadn't bought any fuel for a long time and didn't know why there were bollards across the entrance. but went in and asked if there was any. There wasn't. I explained where we were, as we could be seen from inside the shop, and said that we'd have to call the AA out and left. A very nice guy came running after me and said he might be able to get enough for a can. He did, lent me a can, which I returned immediately. A huge THANK YOU to the guy, I didn't get his name, but he stopped a crisis about to happen.”

“It’s a large Asda with a range of vegan options and it even has a refill section for cereal, grains, coffee, dog and cat food and sweets. There is also a home section and clothing (George).
I find Asda too expensive for most things but I make a point of getting cereal from the refill section which is great to see”
