The place seems to have gone downhill since we last came, the coffee menu has been reduced, the food has all been renamed after cheesy music puns and more tables have been added, leading to everyone being crushed in like sardines.

A vegan, a vegetarian and a meat eater go for lunch, nothing happens, they remain good friends. That's a good way to summarise this café! Super accommodating (needed a toastie without the cheese ?) and friendly team and quirky decor

Not much in the way of Vinyl, some old stuff and. Little pricey. The cafe is great, decor great and a friendly warm atmosphere. The toasties were very nice and food prices for the centre of York very good.

Been coming here for years and so glad we got to come in today before we move away. Best toasties you'll try and such a good price! Had smoothies which were in a pint glass and ended with cake and Bailey's hot chocolate, all of it was lush and such a good price! Brilliant music, brilliant atmosphere and so chilled out! Will miss this place so much, bought many local bands vinyls and when we come back to visit family we will absolutely come back! Thank you for many years of delicious toasties and good vibes!

Great venue, very friendly, good service and fantastic artists all playing through a brilliant sound system. Didn't have any food so can't comment but I'm sure it is top notch. Great selection of beers, wines and spirits. Great night out

Quirky little place full of signed pictures of local artists (presumably), who we'd never heard of. Called in on a weekday morning for a hot drink on the way into York. Didn't have anything to eat so can't rate the food, but the tea and coffee we had were good, and we loved the overall vibe of the place. We will definitely call in again should the opportunity arise.
