Considering that it is a fast food the burgers are very good. For the same reason, I think it is a bit expensive.

Food very tasty, service slow. Atmosphere very odd, made worse by drunken guests.
Parking: Very odd shaped. Two different upstairs, need code for toilet on the bottom of receipt.

We went for milkshakes and then returned for another. No scrimping on ingredients. Many use ice to bulk the volume but not here. These were thick and lovely. Very quiet when we visited.

My daughters all love Five Guys, me less so.
Although I've enjoyed each time I've visited, I really fail to see why the bill is more than double what a similar trip to McDonalds would be.
I have very basic tastes and prefer a plain burger without cheese, lettuce, sauce, etc. Without such accompaniments, a McDonalds burger patty tastes far superior to that of Five Guys, which is basically flavourless.
Five Guys fries and milk shakes are excellent but awfully expensive.
£28.95 for 2 hot dogs, 1 cola, 1 milk shake, and a small fries is too expensive. I'd struggle to carry £28.95's worth of food at McDonalds.

If you've been to a Five Guys before, you already know the quality to expect as well as the over the average prices. This York franchise is nice, very clean and the quality matches as usual, very delicious burgers and fries made to order and very quickly. Have visited a few times for a treat-lunch with different levels of busy-ness and have always been seen to and had my meal in less than 15 minutes.
Dietary restrictions: Staff are very aware of allergies and gluten awareness and will always ask about them. They will clean and make an order in an area clear of contamination for specified orders.

I was highly disappointed with the food. I paid almost £50 for 2 meals and the burger buns were squashed and soggy I won?t be eating here again very expensive and not impressed. Feel robbed

Quirky establishment in that it?s split level and different offshoot areas.
Toilet situation is a bit strange, you need the code off your receipt.

I ordered 2 different burgers and 2 chips. The burgers had no label to know which is which plus bad packed. And the chips have been thrown in the paper bag, so I have a massive portion of chips not 2. Check the picture. First and last time buying from,,five guys,,

Disgusted - ordered a bacon cheeseburger and fries for delivery on Uber eats. Food was cold, the burger was just burger, cheese and bacon which was overcooked. Have added photos of what I ordered and what I got. Will not be ordering from here again, you get better quality from Mac Donald?s
