Went here on a Friday at 5 and sat outside, we got the happy hour cocktails which were absolutely incredible. I got the 3 little pigs sandwich and my partner got the BBQ pulled pork, both portions were fairly large (mine was more filling) and the food itself was delicious. Definitely recommend!

Me and my wife visited here today for the first time ever as we went to York traveling from Durham for the day. We came by the restaurant and thought we would give it a try as the storefront looked appealing and I had saw a few reviews online with mostly positive but a few mixed
For drinks, I got a banana and peanut butter milkshake, which was mainly banana and peanut butter topping (I would have liked it mixed in more together or more peanut butter) and my wife got a peach iced tea.
For mains, I got the Fancy Hanks burger w/ fries and slaw and my wife got mac & cheese w/ a side of fries.
For me, the fries were very salty and I think if they had less salt on them, they would?ve been delicious as they were quite crunchy. The burger patties were cooked really nicely, but unfortunately didn?t taste as if they had any sauce so it tasted a little bit disappointing.
My wife stated that the mac & cheese was nice but needed longer to be cooked to be a little extra crispy. She gave it a 6/10.
Overall, the place isn?t very big but they do have ample seating for I would say up to a party size of maybe 10 maximum. Unfortunately, I would give this a 2.5/5 ??. It is not a bad restaurant at all, but for me, it was the middle of the road and there is better food places.

Fantastic place to get a taste of American style food. Very attentive and friendly staff. Good range of alcoholic drinks. I can recommend at least 4 of the cocktails. The food we ordered was freshly prepared and arrived piping hot. Would highly recommend a visit. We will be going again.

I would like to thank the amazing staff for this evening, a small issue arouse and the whole team was very apologetic and removed all drinks off our bill as an apology (which may I say, they did not need too do that and I asked for them not to) they were so attentive and apologetic and it was sincere. Highly recommended this little hidden gem. Beautiful beer garden even though it?s small. Food was fresh and very tasteful. Amazing team of staff

Food was ok! Very salty! Service was ok. Atmosphere was ok.
What got us was while paying the bill, having to pay a ?tip? which was not on the original bill, only to be told it was on the screen when paying.
Staff should always make customers aware of this, as it is not standard practice.
Feel very cheated, and won?t return.

Dreadful food. Overpriced.
The city centre was very busy, the restaurant was totally empty. We should have known better, but we were tired and hungry.
We all ordered a chicken tenders of one sort or another. None had been cooked fresh, all had been reheated. The fries were like cardboard. The only thing
that was hot was the gravy that had clearly come out of the microwave with a thick skin on top.
I had to go to the bar for some salt, the dispenser was filthy.
The serving staff were pleasant enough, not their fault.

Staff were lovely, food was average but tasted nice, we thought it was a fair price! Toilets were disgusting though, they need to be cleaned more regularly due to water being all over the floor and having blocked toilets.

Always have a delicious meal when we come here. My partner is obsessed with the country fried steak. It?s super yummy. I had the mac and cheese on this occasion and it filled me up. They do such good comfort foods and great cocktails to go with

We had a great dinner and drinks here after exploring York. The ladies (wait staff) were amazing and very accommodating and patient for my friend?s allergies. Highly recommend.

Looking for something a little bit different for our last night in York and holy moly!!! This places food was banging!! Service really good and the Birria Beef Mac and Cheese was unbelievable. If you love smokey creamy with the softest pulled beef then this is for you!! Absolutely no complaints about this place.

Was a very sunny day and we sat in the small courtyard out the bike for a couple of pints and bite to eat and it was delightful. A bit confusing on what deals meant what but other than that everything else tastes phenomenal. The Mac and cheese was perfect and the three little pigs sandwich exceeded expectations. Not a morsel of food left over.

Great eats! Really enjoyed their take on southern bbq flavours and we ate every bite and enjoyed every single one. Recommend the pulled pork and fancy mac and cheese with chorizo, both make my mouth water just remembering how awesome they were.

Food was great, the peach tea was amazing. Their take on southern food was fun. Service was pretty slow. But otherwise we enjoyed it a lot.
