When I was about 17 years old I was a regular customer at a kebab shop in my hometown. Great staff, amazing cheesy chips, and great other menu items.
Since I moved away, I've searched for a kebab shop to match it. I've lived in Burton, Sheffield, and other places. Nothing comes close.
Now, in York, with EFES pizza, I have finally found a kebab shop that meets, and even potentially exceeds my expectations.
The staff are so helpful and the food is delicious (cheeseburger and cheesy chips was my order).
I'm so glad I've found this place. I'll be back for sure!

Ordered through Justeat twice recently, normally don't have any issues placing an order but recently it's been cancelled twice with no reason as to why. Clearly they don't want to take money.

The food descriptions don?t match the items, called to explain that the pizza lists /chicken pieces, onions, garlic butter & cheese/ and the person on the phone explained he?s the chef, he made the pizza, and he made it how it?s meant to be made, even though it had A TOTALLY DIFFERENT TYPE OF MEAT ON IT. Just because it?s called a chicken doner pizza, doesn?t mean the chicken is donner style, it also has other doner meat, even though THAT ISNT LISTED. Don?t trust their ingredients!!

I picked my order from the doorstep 2 minutes atter it was delivered and, whilst unpacking my food, I found a LIVE SLUG in the bag between the boxes. It is impossible for the slug to have crawled in there in the 2 minutes the food was outside yet both this company and Just Eat are refusing my refund, claiming it is "not their problem". AVOID this company and avoid using Just Eat.

Great food with a lot of options - I personally prefer the York Special but there are about 100 to choose from. Fresh ingredients and fast delivery, only wish there was a sit down area.

I did Uber eats delivery for this restaurant. It made me violently ill for 2 days. From both ends. Best to steer clear of this restaurant.

Not one to normally leave a review but you guys deserve one! Never miss with the pizzas, always so friendly if ive called, arrives quick. Long stopped been my favourite pizza takeout and became my only one :)

Efes used to be absolutely 100% great.. I ordered some meat pizza.. the sausage was just hot dog sausage cut up, couldn?t see any kebab meat on it and was a bit on the cold side.. Tasteless I?m afraid guys at the cost of £15.!!!?? What?s happened to the Efes 10 years ago..?? Won?t be going back unfortunately until the cut price menu is changed to the value it?s advertised, sorry Efes..?.. really used to love ya..! Something has gone wrong..??
