This is honestly one of the most unassuming yet gorgeous restaurants we have ever been to.

Came with my boyfriend for his birthday dinner and the food was divine, the service was flawless and the atmosphere was beautiful. I would highly recommend to anyone taking a trip York to visit. Also special credits to the lovely and friendly Rachele and the waitress with black hair that seated us and took our order (sorry I didn?t get her name) and the chefs for our amazing food xx

Had a fabulous meal here for 5 people whilst visiting York. Excellent service and fantastic authentic Italian food cooked with love and so tasty. I love authentic Italian food and this did not disappoint. An excellent restaurant with a unique atmosphere and thoroughly enjoyable. Loved the desserts

Food, service and atmosphere were all of a very high standard. It's some of the best Italian food I've ever eaten. Well worth a visit when you're in York.

The food here was excellent. We had a 3 course meal for 4 people and I cannot fault a single thing we had. Everybody loved it, and the staff were brilliant, very attentive but not overbearing and they even brought my daughter her pudding with a candle and sang happy birthday to her. She was delighted. I'd highly recommend this restaurant for a true taste of Italy.

Would have taken pictures of the food?.but the second it hit the table it was gone - it?s really that good!
From the moment my colleagues and I entered the restaurant, the team there were fantastic and continued till the moment we left! They really couldn?t do enough - service was exceptional.
The food is out of this world and can tell it is made and served with love?..and reasonably priced considering the quality.
Will definitely be visiting again!

Great food, excellent staff, friendly atmosphere. All four of us ordered swordfish and it was delicious, fresh. Served with a lovely selection of properly cooked vegetables.

I recently had the chance to eat at Delrio's, and it was such a great experience! The food was incredible ? hands down the best pasta I?ve ever had. Delrio's also stands out in the warm atmosphere and the fantastic service. Even though there was a mix-up with our booking, the staff were super kind and managed to get us a table at the last minute. The servers were so friendly and made us feel really welcome. If you're looking for delicious food and great service in a cozy setting, I?d definitely recommend Delrio's.

Authentic Sardinian food with a cosy, friendly atmosphere. Best Italian food in York, with reasonable prices. Walk-ins not easy at the weekend as it's usually super-busy.

I find it absolutely appalling that the portions are so large - I didn't have enough space to try more dishes. I gave a few 5 stars last week and the truth Is none of them were as well rounded as Delrio.
There should be a separate category for places like this were the portions are enormous, fantastic ingredients, and extraordinarily craftily made, the service is warm and efficient, the speed is unparalleled, and the decor is rustic but not tacky.
I absolutely loved it, thank you so much. The cheese cake was the best I might have ever had, the Whitby crab also outstanding.
