Costcutter is a friendly little shop round the corner from me which sells basic groceries and things like alcohol and magazines. They open till about 9pm so it's a handy shop for last minutes things which I forgot to buy (or for a cheeky bottle of wine on an evening!) They only downside is you can only pay on your card if you spend a fiver which has stopped me buying things from there on a few occasions when I've just wanted a bottle of water and magazine for instance.
