Used the little shop by the rail track. I was served by a barista that did not add the beans to the app, did not take into account the discount I had and forgot to serve me the muffin I had ordered when I left. When I realised about all the above, came back to sort this out, and he was neither helpful nor polite. Not a good experience, on a site I have always been served very well.

Went for a coffee and snack. Asked for a warm bacon buttie. Lovely staff. Very pleasant. Very helpful. Surprisingly delicious bacon bap for a quick microwave in the bag job. I really enjoyed it. Fresh and very tender and very tasty shock horror. Great cappuccino. Only thing that spoiled things a little for me was the usual horrible sticky table surface that seems very dirty. I don't think it is dirty. I think it is the usual reaction of table cleaning liquid with table Polish surface. It often happens and even your phone sticks to the table and you have to put things like serviettes under it.

Easy going background music.
The seating area was clean, and everything was in tick tock order

A sea of tranquility amongst the bustle of York Station. Little did I know when ordering a Grande Latte there?d be no functioning toilet on the Northern ? for the next 2 1/2 hours ???

The team including Mel, Charlie and Jo. ( I believe they were the names ) were just awesome !! Even though we just went in for a quick tea break the request to put the beverage in a double handled Costa mug, extra hot water and fresh milk on the side didn't phase any of them !! Hats of to you all !! From someone who used to work hospitality ?

This costa is a bit of a curiosity, located in an old wooden structure in the busy station. It's not spacious but it's uniqueness made ot well worth a visit.
