This store gets very busy. This makes long queues and slow service. Sometime ago they closed a smaller store that was very good, for local people. This store was much quieter.

Extremely busy Costa with limited staff to service. Although service was good, the wait time was crazy and managment should do something about it. The service time reflects on quality on coffee. Ordered a latte and mocha and the coffee felt a bit burnt in flavour. The portion size of toasties for £6 was small and confectionary like flapjacks and shortbread were marked up high in price compared to other costa

Person who served us was rude and abrupt. No manners whatsoever. Came across as if it was a massive hardship to have to do some work and serve a customer.

Came in here for a quick cup of coffee one morning while on vacation and the staff was very rude to us because it was a little busy...basically told us to get out and find somewhere else to go all because there was 3 other people ahead of us in the queue!! It's the morning...everyone wants coffee lol and we were taking our coffees to go anyways... if I could rate this establishment 0 stars I would..but here you guys go, here's 1 star

The shop is very small for the amount of people trying to get seats. Not enough staff to clear the tables, and the que was ridiculous.

Popped in for a quick bite to eat with my partner, and enjoyed a toastie each. I got the chicken and bacon, whilst my partner got the hog roast. despite being tasty and rather filling, the toasties are considerably small for nearly £6 each. The spot isn?t too busy with quick and kindly service towards us, however the staff often forget to give you your receipt, leading to issues accessing the code-locked bathrooms. In tandem to this, we watched a young man with a neurological disability (and his family)be turned away from the inside seating area and out into the rain, despite there being no interruption caused by him.

In my opinion over £5 for a toastie is ridiculous, they also insist that you make a purchase to use the bathroom, stating that "the door code can be found at the bottom of your receipt". The quality of the food is alright, but for £5.50 the portions should be larger, not to mention they do not clean the knives they use to slice the sandwiches between uses which could be a concern for those with allergies. I watched as the barista sliced my sandwich before sticking the knife directly back onto the magnetic strip, beside several other unclean knives.
EDIT: While sitting in the store writing my review I watched the same barista turn away a man with tourette's syndrome and refuse him service. The man was not causing a disturbance or being disruptive in any way. I have reduced my rating to one star accordingly.

A reliable Costa and one which is a little less busy given its location. On the day I went I have to mention the person serving as they were very helpful and fun to talk to.
