What an earth has happened to this place. The place is tired looking and totally uninviting. I often pop in either to sit in with work friends or after work for a takeout and it?s like Groundhog Day a long queue which takes ages and to be honest can?t be the baristas fault as is usually it?s always the poor same girls on there own dealing with serving (blonde curly hair and a ginger haired girl) the only ones who seems to smile. Where is management and why have they not got the shop and staff organised or even better instead of sitting on the shop floor with family socialising and bragging her place she could jump on the till and help her team me and our work colleagues were shocked at the lack of unprofessionalism. Used to be a pleasure to pop in. What staff I do see seem ignorant and please could the young girl covered in tattoos have a bit of a moral of who is the customer we found her to be extremely rude to a young gent with a clear disability who asked for some help with his tray very unprofessional.

I am a huge coffee lover, I normally go to the costa at vanguard. However, I thought id try the costa at Clifton moor i have never been to such a disgusting costa in my life. Definitely not worth your time if you haven't been. The cafe area is dirty, lots of crumbs all over the floor, spillage stains on most of the chairs. Tables not being wiped, the toilets were disgusting, tissue all over the floor not clean what so ever. The staff members were very rude, no smiley faces, no hello and I could see them all shoulder barging each other behind the counter to get past one another. It was not a nice atmosphere to be in at all. Definitely needs a refurb, and to hear the staff members talking about one another in awful ways was not professional what so ever. I will not be returning I think I will stick to costa at vanguard

I was very disappointed today when I met my friend in Costa we always have large coffee & almond crousant it was very dry &!barely any filling not fresh at all: as it was very busy I didn?t complain but will do next time I?m in I will.

What a shambles ! Queued for ages, very slow service, rude staff on the till, was given a dirty cup with my latte in - yes really !!! Cafe floor was filthy, toilets dirty, both men?s and women?s, not wheelchair friendly at all. Tables were cleared regularly, however they were not wiped. My chair was dirty, had coffee spilled on it by a previous user, not good having to clean up before you eat/drink. All in all very poor for a costa, in fact the worst I have ever been in. First impressions last, and unfortunately mine is not favourable at all

Never met such rude people no smiles no hello just grumpy people behind the counter. I tried to complain but told there was no boss so I spoke to someone with curly hair a lad he was rude basically didn't care they done nothing. When our food was ready again no smiles she just dropped the food on the table and walked away. The menu kept changing and no staff would help never been so disappointed. I work in a cafe and I would have been fired the dirty looks where vile. We will not be coming back and I expect that lot to be re trained time 13.33 24 August so you know who it was.

Coffee was nice and staff friendly only list stars because they only had 2 seater table available and 4 2 seater tables as I went with 6 children we all had to squash round a small table

Always exceptional, always good coffee, the cakes always fresh, a bit pricey, but you have to pay a little extra for quality..but the points help, and who doesn't enjoy a free coffee every now and then....

A lovely Little Coffee Shop\\n\\nFriendly Staff, Clean Facilities and a nice outdoor area when the weather is good enough.\\n\\nAll the usual Costa items served, close to Tesco and all the Clifton Moor Retail Shops\\n\\nQue can build up but staff work hard to serve people as quickly as possible.\\n\\nWorth a Visit

Clean store, great food, and friendly staff. Good place to visit with friends or family but also a good place to get some work done.

Ive never been but i heard about a little fly incident. This has thrown me off, i will NEVER return. The fly had mad drip though so not entirely bad... I guess.

Typical Costa - not a lot else to say really. It's quite a new one and provides pleasant surroundings to enjoy a coffee while at the Clifton Moor stores. Usual range of drinks and food with fast efficient service.
