Like their bakery shop in Sutton on Sea (Lincs), there is always a loathe supply of fresh bakes/ steak pasties/ cakes etc. Great prices and friendly staff.

I was on a trip from London to York with my partner. We both got the vegan sausage roll as we are both vegiterian.
My partner didn't eat hers I however finished mine. I have had the worst food poising the day after eating this. I am not sure how you give someone food poising from a vegan sausage roll but this place did it!

Possibly the worst bakery in the north of England. Makes the pound bakery look like the Ivy. I ordered two steak bakes and when my children bit into them they were stone cold. I went back into the shop to explain and all I got back was it's cold service? In my many years on this planet I have never been to a bakery where the food is not at least warm. Other bakery will tell you if the food is cold. This food had been sitting there for a while, it tasted disgusting. Luckily there was a Greggs around the corner which saved the day. Poor food, poor staff. AVOID.

Some people shouldn?t work in retail when they are rude, I had an awful experience with the foreign employee with glasses. Needs retraining or not work in a customer facing role. If you are not happy working on a weekend then don?t.

We are regular Tuesday visitors at around 4pm. Myself and now four year old son come to get his favourite 'long sausage roll and biscuit.'. Staff are brilliant and go above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and provide excellent service. Thank you

I loved the Danish caramel pastry n cheese n onion pasty. They offer a good variety of sweet items. Quick n friendly service. Reasonable prices.
More veg options in pasties would be nice.
I am a bit disappointed with cookie monster. It doesn't taste as good as it looks. The cookie doesn't feel fresh, not chewable.

Very friendly staff, I go to Harrogate Cooplands as well and the staff there are also friendly. I love visiting York and Harrogate, great food and lots of choice.

Cooplands always has a good selection of baked goods and is reasonably priced. Personally however I definitely think the quality of Thomas the Baker is a-lot higher and it?s worth the extra 150m walk around the corner.
