Went there for sell my old games old DVDs and my old controller. When I try to sell my crash bandicoot controller holder , they refuse it with excuses saying should with a game. Bought it from GAME for short of £25 for controller holder without a game. They being ridiculous of putting a penny on DVDs. I think I?ll try other CEX nearby to accept the controller holder

Great service- I bought a 3G-only phone 6 months ago which had become inoperable due to O2 3G switchover to 4G. CeXchange kindly gave me a full refund on the old phone and so I bought a more modern one from them.
And they stand behind their warranties too, whereas eBay is a gamble in that respect.
Very happy. A busy shop with lots of business being done.

I went to go and get some ps2 games today and I wanted a pg 15 game but I didn?t have my id on me so I said to a male staff member would I get id for a 15 rated game and he rudely said now that you have asked yes you would and then he just walked away but anyway I still went to get a game anyway but then I got home and sore that it was really scratched booted it up and it didn?t work so now I have to go back tomorrow and return it ??

Went in here today with my husband who was looking to buy a phone.
A female worker was behind the glass getting another customer a phone- my husband, thinking he was being helpful, said to her, ?whist your there, could you grab me that phone? to which she shouted in an aggressive manner ?I?m with a customer?.
Clearly my husband could see she was with another customer but he was only trying to save her, or another staff member from going back behind the glass to get another phone. There was no need for the rude snappy response. Extremely unprofessional, unfriendly woman with a bad attitude.
Won?t go back, which is a shame as we have used this store a few times.

This has got to be the worst Cex shop I've ever visited. What an odd attire of an all male workforce? Unhelpful and condescending. One staff member was however quite helpful and knowledgeable. After visiting 4 times, with different advice each time, we managed to almost leave without the SIM despite the assistant being quite annoying ensuring we didn't need anything else from him. Arrived home then to find the phone was locked. Another trip back, another carpark fee, another day lost. Turns out the phone's battery is completely useless, so looks like another trip back. PS: why do the staff insist on screaming and acting weirdly when small children are in, very odd behaviour all round. Would not recommend despite what useless comment the store decide to reply to this comment with

Purchased a phone here accidentally forgot the new pass code went to get some help in store they apparently don't provide a factory reset service yet can reset every phone they purchase? Would of paid to have reset seen as its my own fault but was told there is nothing they are willing to do, they then sent me to the phone doctor to have the password took off which they then told me it voids my 5 year warranty surly you should provide a service within the warranty in order for me to keep my warranty on it but no they recommend a place which then means the phone is no longer their responsibility which I think is an absolute scam! Also had my receipt so asked to return it as I can't use it and was declined a refund with my receipt within a week of purchasing

Not bad selection but the staff are just like zombies 30 mins in line to buy 2 games. Manager was just swanning around behind the counter while the customers are getting frustrated. Not as bad as white rose but very close 2nd.

Just terrible. My mate bought an Xbox Series S from these robbers and it turned out the console was literally console banned so the guy before realised he could no longer used it and just sold it here. Didn't want to know gave him a small amount of store credit no responsibility nothing and even I've bought broken stuff from here before like scratched discs that won't play to controllers with stick drift. I don't even understand why these broken items get sold when I've tried selling with them in the past they spent a good 10 minutes looking for a specific reason to refuse me something as simple as a scratch only visible with a magnifying glass at 10X is enough to have these guys refuse you. It's a joke avoid stick to eBay for used stuff at least them guys will actually do something if you run into issue and you can also find some good prices on refurbished stuff. Forget CEX nothing is even refurbished or even tested. Reminds me of another company... DKoldies!
