It was 21st December 2024. York was very very busy. Mid afternoon we fancied a coffee break.
We went upstairs with our drinks and food. It was dated, tired, untidy, stale and there was used crocery everywhere. What a mess.
There was no love in this place ... toilets were filthy and nobody cared.
We will not be going back, there are plenty of nice places in York for a family coffee break.

Great service and drinks, but only one toilet so people were waiting over 20 minutes including disabled. . With it being York which is always busy service was quick .

This is a lovely little place. My dad has dementia and feels very safe and knows everyone in there. He sits with a coffee and doesn't feel uncomfortable to leave. It's clean and the cakes are well presented and tasty.
