A lovely place to sit, sip a coffee and grab a snack. Everyone is super friendly, too. An iced cafe mocha in winter might not be everyone?s drink of choice but it was delicious!

Staff are friendly and efficient. The place is small and often no place to sit. Some people in upstairs area often use the area for using laptops so perhaps they are in the cafe for too long and that's the reason why it gets full

Lovely coffee shop but hard to get a table, it was full of students 1 to a table of four using the Internet for hours not buying drinks.

Staff are very friendly but a bit slow. We went upstairs as no seating downstairs but the atmosphere was full of damp air and all windows steamed up with black mould on walls and general cleanliness not good. I think they maybe need more staff here as service slow and empty pots and trays everywhere.

Coffee is nice and the baristas are friendly but the cleanliness leaves something to be desired. Tables were unclean and quite a lot of mould upstairs around the windows and on the walls which could be a health hazard.

Stopped in on a very stormy Saturday and managed to get a table.
The drinks were lovely and hot, with great service.

Absolutely incredible visit. On a horribly busy, overwhelming visit to York this branch was a wonderful oasis of calm.

Girls working in here are vibing, dancing and singing while serving. All the customers were smiling. Great coffee too. Best Nero I?ve been to.

What lovely staff. Such a lovely greeting to everyone. Made sure the place is kept clean. Kept on eye on seating upstairs and told customers before they ordered if there was seating available. The three working at 1pm on 26.09.24 where so lovely. Only there for an orange juice and toastie but thank you for making it an enjoyable experience.
