Selection of drinks and food is a big thumbs up. However, disappointed they don’t accept cash for payment, although not unusual these days. As a cash alternative, maybe visit one of the other many wonderful independent public houses and eateries around the market.

Always a favourite place when in York. Very busy on Sunday night for the quiz, but still pretty quick service at the bar. Food good too.

So many beer options at various sizes so you can try a bit of various drinks. Busy upstairs but still kid friendly. Great staff with quick bar service.
