Despite all the negative reviews, I've always found the team very helpful and attentive. Yes there's usually a queue but I have always been greeted with a smile and then prescription when at the till. Have also phoned up before and they were helpful on the phone too ?

The staff are MORE than very rude. Laughing at my son with epilepsy because he had a hospital script. Its a joke its even open still

I encountered a rather hostile attitude from the person who served me...this isn't a normal response that I have recieved in this store before. I feel the assistant could have been more courteous to the situation .They even moved further along the counter away from me and expected me to know why and when I asked did they want me to move down also I was told "Yes" There is an acceptable manner to speak and behave to older customers and I feel I was not given this .However I was very friendly and courteous to the assistant which is how I would have liked to have been addressed.

I have always had a really good experience, however more recently the staff have presented as rude with no empathy at all. This sadly resulted in me not been able to get my medication following spinal surgery.

phoned up after dr sent prescription over , they confirmed in stock , collected 20 mins later , staff do their best in a busy pharmacy !

Shame I can?t leave no stars! Nothing short of a shambles, medication never in stock, massive queues with 1 serving and the staff under so much pressure due to a lack of management and clear process.Do yourself a favour and use a different pharmacy!

Collected new medication, was quicker than normal so that was good. Main issue is that when asked advice on how to take my new medication the member of staff just said speak to your GP? Now normally when I've collected medication from various pharmacies, they check your details, tell you how to take them and then hand the meds over, but never here. It's the weekend, no Gp to ask and difficult to speak to anyway so I'll just have to guess until next week now until I can speak to a DR. Might see if they'll print it off next time and take it elsewhere.

On Friday i called to collect my perscription from Boots at 3 15 but the queue was so long i decided to return later. I had dropped my repeat perscription a week earlier in at the surgery for sign off. Every month there is a delay so i called to reception to check it had been electronically transferred to Boots. It had gone 19th October. I returned at 5 40. No queue outside but at least 8 people waiting inside. The lady said your perscription is not ready but it will be done now. I said i was surprised not ready as it had been sent through days earlier to which she actually said in a degrading manner so that everyone could hear ?do you want to check my computer screen?. Disgraceful. I walked away and remarked to my friend about her attitude and again she called after ne ?if you think you can do a better job?! This is totally unacceptable. Everyone is under more pressure now in employment including me who works in customer services. This lady with blonde hair in her sixties needs a fast track course in communication skills. I?m sure there are far more deserved individuals who could successfully navigate the role in that busy branch

As iam ex army I've travelled extensively around the UK .I believe this is the worst pharmacy in Great Britain. Boots are a shameful disgrace
