Bluebird bakery, York is everything you'd want a bakery to be and more. We bought 2 almond croissants yesterday and they were so amazing, we ran back across town for more lol. Sadly, they were sold out but I'd gladly drive from Newcastle daily, for my daily fix... maybe I will lol ????

We stopped in for a quick bite to eat, and spotted some nice focaccia in the window.
We asked for it to be warmed, which they couldn?t do. We then asked if they can cut it in half and were told ?No, we don?t have knives?. Very odd to not have a single knife in the kitchen of a bakery?
We resulted to asking the man with gloves on to tear it in half, which he did do.
The focaccia was nice, not the same eating it cold, but nice all the same.
I would return to try it again but only to take home and heat up.

I can?t comment on the food but the lady at the desk was so rude to me and my husband, it put us off buying anything. Such a shame as it looked lovely.

Popped in for a croissant and got an almond one. The best I have had anywhere, delicious, moist as well as crisp. Good thing I dont live nearby or I would be in every so every day ????

We had a fantastic lunch at the Beverley Bluebird Bakery today. Was particularly impressed with the vegan roast pumpkin sandwich. Good to see vegan cake options too. Will definitely be returning.
