Incredibly rude staff.
Went here with my disabled grandson. We were the first ones to sit down as they just opened. We didn?t get our order taken. Two more tables that arrived after us got their orders taken and their food servers and still nobody came to take our order. When I told I was leaving the staff were very rude!
My grandson is severely delayed and has brain damage, he just did not understand why he didn?t get his drink and he was so incredibly upset.

Beautiful, relaxing spot with excellent ambience. Food and staff were absolutely marvelous. Bravo to the chef.

Probably the best cafe I've been to for a long time. Great food and brilliant staff. Inside or outside on a summer's day, still highest quality food and service.

Lovely little cafe with good food, friendly staff and wonderful local products. Very decent prices which was a nice surprise being so close to the York Minster. We've had coffees with cake and a nice lunch.

Lovely place for breakfast and lunch. Yorkshire ham sandwich was tasty. Service was pleasant and fast. Location right across from York Minster. Next time I want to try the scones!

Stopped by for an Al fresco cream tea and it did not disappoint. Very good service, the scone was warm and the cream and jam were plentiful. Highly recommend over its more well known competitor.

Staff could not have been kinder.
I came in with a lost and disorientated lady with dementia to get her out of the cold while we waited for paramedics. The staff brought her a pot of tea and a glass of water while we waited and we super compassionate the whole time. They wouldn't accept payment at the end.
Also the cakes are amazing!
