They were sensitive & dealt with me quickly & offered to help me where they could. I also received a most beautiful bouquet of flowers which they had secretly dashed out for! I got hugs & it meant the world at such a traumatic time”

“Had a really positive experience in HSBC yesterday. As we walked in, we were instantly greeted by a friendly member of staff. My friend wanted to deposit some money but couldn’t remember his pin. She patiently showed him how to retrieve his pin on online banking, talked him through how to deposit the money, and explained to him how to change his pin to a more memorable one. Above and beyond!”

“Met with Handlesbanken for my business banking needs and I could not have been more impressed. They are not a massive banking chain, but the customer service is absolutely awe inspiring, I've never known a bank like it, very much like banks of yester year where the local bank manager actually makes decisions for your needs rather than some big central office. They were friendly and approachable and honest about what they could and could not help me with, they were more than happy to say when another mainstream bank might be more appropriate but equally happy to suggest ways their services could fit into our needs. I honestly could not be more impressed.They do personal banking as well, but I do very well out of a more mainstream bank and their cash back and interest offers so won't be switching, but if I wanted a more personal service then absolutely I would switch to them without a second thought.”

If a person were to fall victim to any scam, they’d want their bank/building society to help; so experiencing this level of diligence and care cements that I made the right call switching to Nationwide - 20 minutes for peace of mind, that’s fine by me.”
