Excellent service , food and ales ?. Not local to this area but wish I could take this pub and it's friendly staff back home with me . Very enjoyable meeting the locals who love a chat .

A beautiful traditional village pub, great atmosphere and very friendly staff. The food is top class homemade,wholesome and delicious. A hidden gem in a little Yorkshire village. Highly recommend

Had a Sunday lunch which was absolutely wonderful. One of the best I have had in my 66 years. Best roast potatoes ever. Can't fault the food or service. Not a scrap of food left.
