“Ther are several charity shops in this street so you can try them all. Someone I know travels from Scarborough to Whitby specially to do the charity shops. This one has some nice gifts for animal lovers but for others too. They have a small but nice window display and I like the fact that the books are well displayed. They have some nice bric a brac and some unusual household items. I do have to be firm and remind myself that I have no space to spare. If you want a charity shop that gets unusual stuff given this it or at least that is what I have found.”

“I called in to donate some items for the first time yesterday (a Sunday afternoon) I was pleasantly surprised they were open. The guy I dealt with was friendly, helpful & signed me up for Gift Aid. Thank you ?”

“A fabulous Oxfam located just across from the beach. I walked in not expecting to buy soo many items but walked out with bags full. I managed to find around 5 different shirts for my partner, some of which were brand new and very unique. A stunning cat print dress ? and a set of silky pyjamas. Just what I needed.
The staff were extremely friendly. Oxfam have a great range of their own merchandise such as moomins. I managed to pick up a cute moomin tote to add to my collection.
I will definitely come here again when visiting

“I love this shop because it has a look and feel of shops from my childhood. The street has other such shops. This shop is run by some lovely welcoming volunteers who are genuinely pleased when you find something you really want. I bought some new games for a kids group and they were really happy that they were going to a good home. There are clothes and bric a brac. The stock of books is good and they often have older books which I find fascinating.I dont mean expensive first editions but stuff you remember from years ago and enjoy reading again. The area and the shop are well worth a visit.”
