Ordered some ?Whitby winkle? jewellery from Imogen whilst in Whitby. I loved hearing how her father had cast the original pendant winkle and how Imogen had scoured the beaches to find one small enough to cast for the earrings. My pieces arrived this week and they are beautiful. A lovely reminder of a special holiday. Thank you Imogen. X

Great craftsmanship but terrible customer service. I have prepaid for my order but no reply via email or phone.
I wouldn't recommend because of this and would say just go somewhere else to save the hassle.

Visited this place a few years ago and spoke to the lovely owner who told us all about the Heritage centre and her family's history, she said if we found a piece of Jet to take it in and she could make us something. Finally! ........My Son found a lovely piece of Whitby Jet and we had it made into Jewellery by Imogen. She was lovely so friendly and helpful with ideas and suggestions. Created us some lovely pendants, keeping the Jets characterful surface as requested. Absolutely Over the moon with them.

Met the lovely Imogen here, who repaired the clasp on a brooch I?d been given and helped me work out what it actually was. While we were there, we spotted her handmade jewellery and I walked away with a lovely sea-polished jet necklace in a silver setting that was modern but still nodded towards the Victorian aesthetic, which I love. It?s a great place that is preserving the history of Whitby jet while still writing its future story.

Gorgeous, handmade earrings and incredible customer service from Whitby Jet. My cousin was absolutely thrilled with her bat earrings and the beautiful gift wrapping. Imogen went above and beyond after I made a mistake with my order, brilliant customer service is so rare in 2022 but I absolutely found it here. Thank you Imogen and Whitby Jet! ?

Fantastic shop and first class service?..had a piece of jet I?d found on the beach turned into a wonderful pendant in less than an hour. Would highly recommend. The Victorian workshop is amazing too.

Amazing craft work, bought a whitby winkle, which the owner hand made and finished on the day we collected. This made it even more special as it was my wife's birthday. Please visit the work is fantastic. Made our trip to whitby.

Had a lovely visit this morning very interesting. Family run with some beautiful quirky recycled silver and jet necklaces. I shall definitely return for a further purchase. Well worth a visit .

I just received my Nina Pendant that I had ordered online. Hands down most beautiful piece of jewelry that I own. The necklace was handmade by a lovely women called Imogen who hand wrote me a note. Really great personable customer service. Definitely will be recommending to friends and no doubt be purchasing again. A lovely experience.

I went in interrupted the jeweler's tea time, but she was so nice! I asked a thousand different questions about jet and she answered all of them so nicely! She showed me her carving and polishing tools, she showed me different types of jet! It was such an awesome place! Its family owned, they do preservation, and inform the public, it's just an outstanding place. Definitely recommend visiting!

We had a very pleasant visit yesterday and were thrilled to see the old machines and tools on display. The items for sale were lovely, and Imogen was a delight to meet. She was a fount of knowledge and we loved seeing her work, in this family business.
