“I needed an emergency prescription on holiday after I forgot to bring my inhaler with me. The NHS prescription service wasn't working properly, but the pharmacy team got it sorted for me really quickly and were friendly.”

“Mo has helped me out a few times in the last few years with MacBook issues. Most recently, Apple said my 10 year old MacBook was too old to update any more (I was having issues with an outdated browser) so I had a new one on order. I then decided to call Mo to see if anything could be done and of course there was. He replaced the hardrive with a new solid state version and now everything on my Mac is up to date and it runs like new. Mo is a real legend...if something is not worth fixing he won't let you waste your money on it, but if it is he will do it quickly and at a truly competitive price....he just saved me the hefty cost of a replacement. Thanks again Mo!”

“Very fruitful! This is a big shop overlooking the harbour and 2 minutes walk from the railway and bus stations. If you have patience and time to browse there are hidden treasures just waiting to be discovered. From household items, small furniture, vintage clothing, designer to High Street, good condition donated goods go out on the rails every day so the earlier you get there the better. If you like putting together clothes for your own unique look then this is Whitby's gem of charity shops. And they have a great book section too, and music - CD's, audio books, vinyl - you can take a seat and get lost in a book (or two) - all sorted into genre and author. There's definitely a book for everyone here. There's two changing rooms and volunteers are helpful and friendly and I'm guessing some of like vintage style too! There's a sandwich shop next door so when you finish shopping you can pick up a delicious lunch and coffee and eat it sitting on one of the harbour benches - check out that stunning view of the Abbey across the river. What more could a charity shop offer!”
