Wonderful scenery, cottages are so cosy and have everything you could possibly need.15 minutes to Whitby and 5 to Robin Hood Bay.Could have stayed there forever!

Really nice cottages. The hosts of the cottages are a really nice welcoming couple. The location is ideal for a quiet getaway and good for getting in to Robin Hood's Bay Scarborough and whitby. The facilities in the house are great. Highly recommended.

A walkers paradise. Breathtaking views. We enjoyed walking down to Boggle Hole with our dog. The owners are always on hand to help if needed. Bay View Cottage is very clean and spacious. We were warm and comfortable. You'll find everything you need in this cottage. Just take some shopping in with you for your first night. We will most certainly return here. Excellent value for money.

Spectacular views, interior a bit tired. Some mattresses should have been replaced years ago. New carpets wouldn't go amiss.

Had a fab stay. Great location. Great cottage. Lovely flat walk to the village. Close enough to Whitby to easily get. Good cycling for kids on the cinder track. Nothing not to like really!

Just returned today and stayed at the wheel house cottage. Don?t normally leave reviews, although I should, but just wanted to make sure others were aware before booking. The cottages themselves are beautifully presented, spacious and clean with all facilities absolutely spot on to be fair.The views are beautiful, although the weather wasn?t kind to us, but that?s how the cookie crumbles. If you like walking with the dog it?s fantastic ( why we booked) but please be aware of the following-The distance to Robin hoods bay is quite a considerable up and down hill slog, not so much an issue if you like walking (we do). But on an evening if you fancy a drink or meal in the bay after an enjoyable walk (day out) then it?s a minimum £10 there and £10 back for a car journey that?s literally 10- 15 mins. Doesn?t sound a lot but multiply that by a week that?s £100 before you put a drink to your lips....in a nutshell unless you take the car and don?t drink (your very, very isolated staying at this accommodation).Doesn?t help that there is only one taxi company in the area (Bay Taxi?s) with no competition, so basically it?s payout or stay in...or not drink...but your on holiday???Pick the cottages up and move them they would be great. Only issues I could pick fault on the accommodation itself was the washer dryer didn't work and the electric cooker was a nightmare to operate....or and the heating and fire are on timers so you have to keep getting up and restarting them......I will definitely return to Robin hoods bay it?s beautiful - BUT STAY NEARER THE BAY!!!Hope that helps....

Stayed a week at the bay cottage with 3 adults and a 3 year old daughter. Had a absolutely fantastic week. The cottage is spotless when we arrived and it was far bigger than we expected. Full use of washing machine and dishwasher in the cottage and tea and coffee provided on arrival with milk in the fridge. Even though we didn't have a car getting around was no problem as used 'Bay taxis' and they were fantastic as any trip was no problem and always were helpful in asking about getting around the local area. The owners were fantastic our june is great in getting to know the people that were staying and were always encouraging people to knock on there door if there was any problems. All I can say it's a 'home from home' experience. Only negative thing was lack of bins around the area to dispose of dog waste otherwise fantastic.looking forward to next year rosa rachel and ann and julie xxx??????

Disabled cottage has a slope you could ski down,impossible to get back up if your in a wheelchsir,so not really got disabled acess,taps in kitchen both loose,no tea or coffe on arrial,was 2 tea towels though,late check in early out,only thing going for it are the views

Pillows need new ones for cost wasn't cheap expected at least a tv that worked maybe upgrade these too otherwise beautiful place scenery lovely people very lovely stunning place very clean just a little updating needed but fabulous all mod cons home from home
