Mostly local staff and those that aren't local are always very welcoming, good range of products, and for a relatively small village (Castleton) it plays a big part in keeping the community waterd and fed. ?

We went there when we were on holiday it was only a 8 minutes drive away from our cottage well the one were staying?. But my car ? got hit so I was furious but than the anti roll bar broke so I scrapped my car anywere will go again and will recommend to my mates

We live locally and I don't know what we'd do without our Co-op! It's open every day (except Christmas Day) from 7am (I'm told) to 10pm and stocks anything we might need in an emergency, and plenty of other things besides - fresh bread, milk, orange, fresh fruit and vegetables, a small selection of meat, cheese and store cupboard items. The prices are pretty good too - comparable with the big chains some 10 miles away.

Small, limited selection but fine for an emergency! Any bigger and it would look out of place for the location.
