I visited the branch today and found the experience to be rather frustrating and annoying. A customer was at one of the tills as I arrived and was still there an hour later. She appeared to be well known to the adviser at the till and appeared to be getting help to set up mobile banking. For some reason it was taking an inordinately long time to sort that out. I left, came back later, and she was still there. When she eventually left there was no suggestion of an apology to the people who had been kept waiting. I thought this was an extraordinary lapse of customer service or even awareness.
