We?ve been going to Wood Hall since our wedding in 2001, it?s always been a pleasure until our last visit, the food left a lot to be desired and the service was even worse, I?d have complain to a manager had there been one around. It?s a shame, it use to be so good, with so much competition I?m surprised they?re letting their standards slip.

We decided to visit the bar this afternoon for a bite to eat after our swim. The food was excellent and the service from Will was first class ??????????

We stayed for 2 nights, upon entering the room there were rose petals, a bottle of fizz and chocolates, as requested by my fiancé. Even when we had room service, they arranged all the rose petals back, very nice touch.
The service was incredible, treated like royalty by kind staff.
Great vegetarian breakfast options.
Relaxing spa with a sauna, pool and jacuzzi.
Comfortable beds and nice shower in room.
Room service with delicious pizza.
Peaceful hotel, close to some nice towns.

I?ve visited here twice now for so many reasons I can?t even list them all. From the start to finish, all staff are so friendly, relaxed and attentive. We had massages & facials booked with a big weekend stay package, and nothing disappointed us. The food, the drinks, the room, I left a tiny ring and glasses at the spa, within minutes staff had let me know they had left them at hotel reception. I can?t believe anyone would ever have a bad experience here, unless you hate absolutely everything. I love the decor, the staff are happy to chat, not just ?serve? you, nothing to strict or wooden the policies are relaxed as in you can use the spa as much as you want until you leave. Such a special visit, thankyou to Alyssa, Gabi and Andy who made our stay the best!!!
You certainly get what you pay for.

We recently stayed at this location for a conference, and our experience was nothing short of exceptional. Situated on the outskirts of Leeds city center, the venue offered a serene and picturesque environment, providing an excellent vantage point to admire the stunning Yorkshire landscape. The location struck a perfect balance?close enough to the city for convenience, yet far enough to enjoy a peaceful retreat away from the urban hustle.
The accommodations were superb. Our room was spacious, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully furnished to provide the utmost comfort. The staff were equally commendable?polite, professional, and always eager to ensure our stay was enjoyable. From check-in to check-out, their friendly demeanor and attention to detail left a lasting impression.
One of the highlights of our visit was the food. The dining options were outstanding, offering a delightful array of traditional British dishes. Each meal was prepared to perfection, showcasing the richness of British culinary heritage. One particular item stood out?a cheese infused with apricot. Its unique blend of flavors left a lasting impression, though, unfortunately, I cannot recall its name.
Overall, our experience was fantastic. The combination of excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and delicious food made our stay truly memorable. We would happily return in the future.

This was a christmas gift. Spa and treatment were fantastic and so were the staff who worked in the spa.
Stayed over night room was lovely and clean.
Booked in restaurant very disappointed food vert expensive , not a lot of it and poor menu choice. Food wasn't brilliant and staff were very rude . Especially the next morning at breakfast everything seemed a chore for them.
Wouldn't recommend.

Hotel is very tired and a bit grubby. Desperate need of a refurb. A bit understaffed. Was in the bar area for over 2 hours and not offered refreshment. Spa furniture was uncomfortable tables unwired. You could see how dirty it was. All round just a bit grubby but the spa rooms were nice and the massage excellent. Food was nice and enjoyable. I would have expected a lot more from the photos. They are quite misleading.

Thank you for making my Daughter and Son in laws wedding weekend run so smoothly five star service from start to finish from the venue and all the staff. Nothing too much trouble would definitely reccomend for a wedding venue.
