Ignore any review over 2 years ago. New management since then. Lovely welcoming atmosphere, staff and landlord especially friendly. No food (which is fine options in Boston Spa) but a wonderful place for a pint, snacks and a chat. Nice outdoor area for a drink with a suntrap in the evening. The perfect village pub.

Stopped in our Motorhome as just off the A1(M). Had a v nice bottle of red wine and they were happy to let us park overnight. Extremely helpful staff. Wine markup extremely reasonable (does everyone check the prices online?). Definitely recommend and will put it on our pub stopovers list?
